The parental notification legislation that has been introduced for the 2005-2006 legislative session (H.328) would require abortion clinics to provide written notice to a parent before performing a medical or surgical abortion on a minor girl, with special provisions for girls who are victims of abuse. This bill is in the House Human Services Committee. Please contact the committee members to let them know that you support Parental Notification.
